Rehabilitation mission from May 22-28, 2017
Our specialists came from Mexico and US. Rehabilitologist dr. Noemi Garcia from Mexico and Physiotherapist, Kay Christian from US. Both of them were nice specialists and devoted Christians.
Educational program was ‘Kinesiotherapy application in Rehabilitation’.
We saw different patients. Norair 8 month ago suddenly had lost the strength in his legs and was almost parilzed. By the instruction of our friend Dr. Vahe, he received some injections and with physiotherapy he had quite improvment. He had lost his hope and was very disappointed, didn’t want to see any doctor anymore. 2 times we saw him, one in Chiropractic mission and one in Rehab mission at Canadian clinic.
All his life he had done hard work and lifted heavy things which caused deformation of his spine etc.

Another patient was a child with CP.
After examining the child right instruction of exercises was given to her parents.
In hospitals we saw different patients and soldiers who were shot during war.

Lectures were organized with head of Kinesiotherapy and Sport Medicine Department, YSMU , Dr. Nune Ter-Margaryan and was intended for Sport Medicine specialists, doctors, kinesiotherapists, Orthopeditions etc.

We had 5 days lectures for 4 hours a day and practice 4 hours.
The specialists told that they had been in other rehabilitology training but nowhere they were trained so well than here and they asked us to inform them again for the next mission.
At the end of training each specialists was going to receive 28 Credits from Health Ministry, certificate from Yerevan State Medical University and ICMM.
At the end of seminars Dr. Noemi Garcia and me shared God’s Word with audience and testified His work on us and will for each person. We encouraged them to allow God to use them for His will as Christian nation. It is always good to earn trust first and be an example then to talk to people about God. They listened carefuly and agreed that whatever good we have we need to share with others!
Specialists trained will be using these skills and applying on their patients!

Thanks God for this opening door! Right now we are applying to YSMU and Health Misnietry for the next educational program by ICMM for Kinesiotherapy and Physiotherapy, this time specialists are coming from US and Germany.
