2018 January we started the third Vascular mission with French Armenian Doctor, Phillipe Karagulian from Paris ‘St. Jose’ Hospital and in cooperation with “St. Gregor Lusavorich” Medical Center.
Patients were already screened and registered by Dr. S. Voskanyan and ready for the mission. 46 Patients had duplex examination and 16 sclerotherapy and 2 patients had surgery for phlebotomy.
Head of Angiology department, dr. Armen Khedoyan, some assistents and nurses also joined us to assist dr. Phillipe during surgeries and sclerotherapy.
This was the third stage of vascular mission and fourth will be in March. Dr. Phillipe agreed to be in Armenia for a mission after each second month. All these patients who passed procedure will come again in next mission for follow up and for next stage of treatment.
